Magda Procner has been practising yoga for over fifteen years and has been living, studying and teaching in India since 2011, where she co-founded Parinama Yoga Studio in Goa.
She has completed 500 hr TTC as well as a variety of other trainings, workshops and CPD courses, including yearly trainings in Mysore with her teacher Vinay Kumar, meditation training for teachers with Sally Kempton, course in yoga therapy with Doug Keller, and trainings in pranayama, backbending, vipassana meditation, Reiki healing and more.
She has been teaching internationally since 2011, conducting Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Hatha Flow classes as well as modules for TTC courses, and organising workshops and retreats all over the world, including India, Sri Lanka, UK, Poland, Spain, Italy and Costa Rica.
She approaches yoga in a holistic way, treating the body as a multidimensional vessel which needs every-day care and attention in order to stay healthy and nourished. She treats each student individually, helping them to understand their bodies, with all their needs, tensions and limitations, and creating a safe space for physical as well as internal exploration. Her classes combine scientific knowledge of the body gained during extensive studies of anatomy and yoga therapy with eastern wisdom gained throughout all her years of living and studying in India. The result is an intuitive blend of creative, alignment-based and anatomy-specific sequences including asanas, breathwork, meditation, mantras and more.
A strong believer in the power of smile and laughter and the importance of growth and expansion, she tries to live her life trusting her instincts, following her dreams and appreciating every moment, while helping others unlock their own power and potential.

With over 15 years of practice in a variety of yoga disciplines (Yin, Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Hot, Bikram, Restorative and Kundalini) Cara travels the globe spreading her love of yoga through Peru, Goa, Mumbai, Bali, Egypt, Thailand, New York, New Mexico and Los Angeles, recently completing her first 100 hour mat pilates training.
she received her first 200 hour certification in Ubud, Bali in 2013 and completed her 500 hour Ashtanga certification in 2015 while studying in India.
Cara is humbled and honored to teach what she has learned through her vast studies. Always remaining a student of the practice and super grateful for her yoga journey as a new life path has presented itself to her.
Her approach to teaching is focused on relieving anxiety and learning acceptance with what is, while other lessons may focus on balancing the mind and body.
Although like most of us she can be found running from place to place or trying to do too much in too little time, what makes her happiest is when she is deeply rooted in nature connecting with her soul and mother earth.
The philosophy of her yoga instructions is to bring people into their own beautiful movement capabilities and personal growth. To reveal your own personal practice, using your own proper alignment. Journey towards your authentic inner light and let it expand through strengthening and stretching to the fullest potential, using your breath as your yoga tour guide through every asana.
Her passion to uplift, inspire and nurture radiate in her mindful articulation of this ancient and healthy practice.

“This retreat was one of the most powerful experiences I have ever participated in. It provides an opportunity to surround yourself in loving kindness, and healing energy, while embarking on a journey with like-minded and open-hearted souls. You achieve deep connection to the earth, to each other, and to yourself through multi-modality exploration including nutrition, yoga, meditation, sound healing, and friendship. I would highly recommend this retreat to anyone interested in embracing and achieving their highest self through spiritual awakening, deep healing, connection, community, and everlasting empowerment.”
